Carducci String Quartet

The Quartet will perform Brahms Clarinet Quintet on the 24th of January 2019 with Emma Johnson at the Cadogan Hall.

The Carducci String Quartet consists Matthew Denton and Michelle Fleming on violins, Eoin Schmidt-Martin on viola and Emma Denton on cello. Their complete cycle of the 15 Shostakovich quartets in 2015 elicited rave reviews.

The Quartet played Bartók's String Quartets No. 2 Sz67 and No. 6 Sz114 and Kurtág's Hommage à Mihály Andráson on the 7th of November 2018 and performed on the 17th of October they did perform Bartók's String Quartet No. 3 Sz. 85 on the 19th of September 2018 at Kings Place.

They performed Haydn's String Quartets in E major Op. 17 No. 1 and C major Op. 50 No. 2 and Bartók's String Quartet No. 2 BB75 on the 12th of July 2018 in the Wigmore Hall.

The quartet played Schumann's Piano Quintet in E flat Op. 44 in Kings Place with pianist Reiko Fujisawa on the 6th of May 2018. They gave a performance and masterclasses at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance on the 29th of March 2018 and played 5 Quartets by Glass on the 23rd of March 2018 at St John's Smith Square.

They played at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance on the 1st of February 2018, and at Mansfield Street on the 17th of October, gave a BBC Radio 3 Lunchtime Concert at LSO St Luke’s on the 6th of October 2017 and performed Beethoven's Septet with Emma Johnson on the 5th of October 2017 at St. Peter Eaton Square.

The Quartet gave a lunchtime concert on the 19th of June 2017 at the Wigmore Hall with the programme including Dvořák's String Quartet in F major Op. 96 (American).
