Anne-Sophie Mutter - Violin

Anne-Sophie Mutter won the 2005 Instrumental Soloist Grammy Award for her performance of André Previn's Violin Concerto.

She won the 2000 gramophone award, together with Lambert Orkis on the piano, for Best Chamber Music Performance of their Beethoven’s Sonatas recording for Piano and Violin.

Anne-Sophie Mutter played Penderecki's Violin Concerto No.2 (Metamorphosen) with London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall on the 2nd of May 2018.

She made her BBC Proms debut on the 10th of September 1985 in a performance of Brahms' Violin Concerto in D major with the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Lothar Zagrosek.
