Federico Colli won the Gold Medal and first prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2012 playing Beethoven's Piano Concerto no. 5 'Emperor' with the Manchester Hallé Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Mark Elder.

He won First Prize at the Mozart Competition in 2011 in Salzburg, a city where he studied at the Salzburg Mozarteum.

He was born in Brescia, Italy in 1988 and studied at the Milan Conservatory and the International Piano Academy in Imola.
