Igor Levit - Piano

Mr. Levit will play Busoni's Piano Concerto in C Op.39 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Antonio Pappano on the 1st of May 2020 at the Royal Festival Hall.

Mr Levit made his BBC Proms debut at the Royal Albert Hall on the 2nd of September 2015 with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra under the baton of Peter Oundjian in a performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 27 in B flat major.

Mr. Levit made his BBC Chamber Proms debut on the 6th of August 2012 playing Ravel's Piano Trio in A minor and Debussy's Cello Sonata with violinist Jennifer Pike and cellist Nicolas Altstaedt.

He won the Best Performer of Chamber Music at the 2005 Arthur Rubinstein Competition and made his BBC Chamber Music debut on the 6th of August 2002 in the Cadogan Hall with a performance of works by Debussy and Ravel.
