Mr. Goerner played Danseuses de Delphes, La sérénade interrompue, Le vent dans la plaine,La fille aux cheveux de lin, La danse de Puck, Les sons et les parfums tournent dans l'air du soir, Les collines d'Anacapri from Debussy's Préludes Book I and Chopin's Polonaise in F sharp minor Op. 44, Polonaise in A flat major Op. 53, Nocturne in E major Op. 62 No. 2 and Nocturne in F minor Op. 55 No. 1 at a lunchtime recital at the Wigmore Hall on the 24th of October 2016.
Mr. Goerner started a scholarship to work with Maria Tipo at the Geneva Conservatoire in 1987, which led him to win First Prize at the Geneva Competition.
He was born in San Pedro in 1969, and studied in his home country of Argentina where he won First Prize in the Franz Liszt Competition in Buenos Aires in 1986.
