Marin Alsop - Conductor

Marin Alsop will conduct the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain in a performance of Beethoven's Symphony No.9 (Choral) in April 2020 and will conduct the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Choir in a performance of Butterworth's A Shropshire Lad, Elgar's Enigma Variations and Walton's Belshazzar's Feast at the Royal Festival Hall on the 9th of November 2019.

Marin Alsop conducted the London Philharmonic Orchestra on the 16th of January 2019 in a programme including a world premiere of Arne Gieshoff's Burr, Louis Andriessens's Agamemnon and the world premiere by Helen Grime's Percussion Concerto.

Marin Alsop made her BBC Proms debut Prom 10 on the 25th of July 2003 with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in a programme consisting of Tchaikovsky's Francesca da Rimini, Joe Duddell's Ruby and Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra.
